A former employee of a call center claims he was fired for inappropriate behavior in the workplace after giving a kiss on the face to his wife, who works at the same company in Bristol, UK.
According to the Daily Mail, Martin Singh, 37 years old, gave a kiss on the face to his wife as a form of encouragement because she had just started working at the same company, after having four children.
The man said that after the display of affection between the two, they said to his wife to stay away from him at work.
At the time, Singh thought it was a bit extreme but did not cared much.
However, after a meeting with four senior members of the telemarketing company he was told it was going to be fired.
The company defends its decision and said that the dismissal followed three previous disciplinary offenses.
The other offenses were wearing casual pants, use hispersonal cell phone at work and watch online videos during a turn.
